Screening for Plagiarism Policy

Lux Luris: Journal of Business Law upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and is committed to preventing all forms of plagiarism and publication misconduct. All submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published.

1. Plagiarism Screening

Every submitted manuscript undergoes an initial plagiarism screening using reliable plagiarism detection software, such as Turnitin or iThenticate, before entering the peer review process. This screening is intended to ensure the originality and authenticity of the submitted work.

2. Similarity Index

The journal applies a maximum 20% similarity index threshold. Manuscripts exceeding this limit may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected, depending on the extent and nature of the identified similarities.

3. Handling Publication Misconduct

If a manuscript is found to contain substantial plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, or any other form of publication misconduct, the Editorial Board reserves the right to take appropriate action. Such actions may include manuscript rejection, cancellation of the publication process, article retraction, and the prohibition of future submissions by the responsible author(s).

4. Author Responsibilities

Authors are fully responsible for ensuring that all quotations, references, data, figures, tables, and ideas derived from other sources are properly acknowledged and cited in accordance with the journal's citation standards. Authors must also guarantee that their submitted manuscript is an original work and free from plagiarism.
