Peer Review Process

Lux Luris: Journal of Business Law adopts a Double-Blind Peer Review system to ensure the objectivity, integrity, and academic quality of every published manuscript. Under this system, the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process, ensuring an impartial and unbiased evaluation.

1. Initial Editorial Screening

Upon submission, every manuscript undergoes an initial evaluation by the Editorial Board to determine its compliance with the journal's aims and scope, formatting requirements, and submission guidelines. The manuscript is also screened using plagiarism detection software to verify its originality.

2. Reviewer Assignment

Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript's field of legal study.

3. Double-Blind Peer Review

The journal applies a double-blind review process in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to one another. This policy is intended to maintain fairness, impartiality, and objectivity throughout the evaluation process.

4. Reviewer Evaluation

Reviewers assess the manuscript based on its originality, scientific quality, legal analysis, methodology, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the development of legal scholarship. Constructive comments and recommendations are provided to assist both the editor and the authors.

5. Editorial Decision

Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final editorial decision, which may be one of the following:

Accepted – The manuscript is accepted for publication without further revisions.
Minor Revision – The manuscript requires minor revisions before publication.
Major Revision – The manuscript requires substantial revisions and may be reconsidered after resubmission.
Rejected – The manuscript does not meet the journal's academic standards or falls outside the journal's scope.
6. Notification of Review Results

Authors will be informed of the editorial decision and reviewer comments through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform or via the journal's official email.

Note to Authors
Authors are expected to address all reviewer comments carefully and submit revised manuscripts within the specified deadline. Timely and comprehensive revisions contribute to a more efficient editorial and publication process.
