Using a qualitative descriptive method, the research aims to explore and describe the current condition of HR development within the agency. Data were obtained through field interviews and document analysis. The findings show that HR development in the agency includes several aspects: (1) Education, where there are still employees whose highest level of education is senior high school; (2) Training, which has been implemented but not all employees participate in it regularly; and (3) Skills, where most employees demonstrate adequate work competence, although it has not yet reached an optimal level. Supporting factors for HR development include: (1) opportunities to pursue formal education, (2) access to training programs, and (3) individual motivation for self-improvement. However, several inhibiting factors were also identified, such as: (1) the relatively low educational background of some employees, (2) the lack of supporting facilities and frequent power outages that disrupt work processes, and (3) limited educational assistance for employees who wish to continue their studies. This study highlights both the progress and challenges of human resource development within the agency and provides insights for future policy improvements.
2024-09-30T00:00:00+08:00Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of General Business, Innovation and Entrepreneurship https://journal.ubl.ac.id/index.php/innovator/article/view/154HOSPITAL PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS USING BALANCE SCORECARD 2025-06-11T12:42:36+08:00Yuliana Dwi Setyawatiyulianadwi.setyawati@gmail.comRiswan Riswanriswan@ubl.ac.cid
This study aims to analyze the performance of RSIA Santa Anna Telukbetung using the Balanced Scorecard approach. This study applied the qualitative grounded theory method with data collection through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and analysis of hospital documents. The results showed that the financial performance of RSIA Santa Anna in the 2020-2022 period was generally in good condition, with satisfactory liquidity, profitability, and cost recovery rate ratios, although the solvency aspect still needed to be improved. From a customer perspective, the patient retention rate shows a positive performance with an average of above 100%, while customer acquisition is still low with a rate of only 18%. Customer satisfaction is generally considered quite good based on the five main dimensions of service. From an internal business process perspective, most indicators showed achievements in accordance with the standards set out in Permenkes Number 1171 of 2011, although the Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR) has not yet reached the recommended ideal number. The learning and growth perspective also showed good results, reflected in the high proportion of permanent workforce, the implementation of regular training that covers almost 38% of employees per year, and the high level of job satisfaction as a result of attention to employee welfare and professional development.
2024-09-30T00:00:00+08:00Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of General Business, Innovation and Entrepreneurship https://journal.ubl.ac.id/index.php/innovator/article/view/155THE INFLUENCE OF GOOD GOVERNMENT GOVERNANCE AND IT KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT ON THE PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES OF THE REGIONAL OFFICE OF THE MINISTRY OF LAW AND HAM LAMPUNG 2025-06-11T14:35:53+08:00Desta Rianidestariani@gmail.comTina Miniawati Barusmantina@ubl.ac.id
This study aims to analyze the impact of Good Government Governance (GGG) and IT Knowledge Management on employee performance at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in Lampung. The background of this research is based on the increasing importance of implementing good governance principles and information technology knowledge management to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness. The study employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis, with data collected from 40 employees at the office. The results indicate that both Good Government Governance and IT Knowledge Management significantly influence employee performance. The regression analysis reveals that the beta coefficient for Good Government Governance is 0.308, while IT Knowledge Management has a beta coefficient of 0.324, suggesting a strong positive relationship between these variables and employee performance. These findings highlight the critical role of governance principles and technological knowledge in improving work quality, accountability, and efficiency in public sector organizations.
